Syntax Error HELP

    I keep getting the following error message:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_IS_NOT_IDENTICAL in /home/fhlinux166/h/hotlippy.com/user/htdocs/wordpress/wp-includes/vars.php on line 35

    I am a newbie and REALLY need help, I am trying to set wordpress on my streamline.net webpage and have been working on it ALL DAY to no avail.
