• Hey so I was trying to add a plug in onto the functions.php and I got an error on line 7, so I removed the plug in code but the error remained. Now I cannot access my site at all, can’t login or anything.

If you click on the link you’ll see what happens.

How am I able to fix this so I can edit the site again?

  • Try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming:

    wp-content/themes/newlegos

    to:

    wp-content/themes/newlegos-old

using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. That should get the site running again. Then you’ll need to re-install a fresh copy of your old theme.

    I also can’t connect to ftp client….

You need to contact your hosts about that.

I’ve had that error when my password was wrong.

Looks like an incorrect FTP password to me too. Please confirm your FTP login details with your hosts.
