Synonyms overwrite each other

  • Hi, I have a little problem with synonyms in SearchWP. (My site is in German, I hope that’s fine.)

    When I’m searching for “Flanell” only products appear that state “Flanell” alone. “Flanellhemd” for example does not show.
    In the SearchWP backend I listed the following synonym: Search Term “Flanell” –> “Flanell*”. But it doesn’t work – still only shows pieces with “Flanell” alone. So I tried “Flanell” –> “Flanellhemd”. Now only pieces with “Flanellhemd” appear and no pieces with “Flanell” alone.
    Is there a way to show ALL the pieces that have “Flanell” in the name/description without activating the “Partial matches (fuzzy when necessary)” option? This really messed with our search results.
