    Hello! Thank you for this awesome plugin. I have a question about synonyms (and this is a nerdy science site, so pretty esoteric ??

    I set up synonyms “Hemiptera, Homoptera” in the AWS synonym box, since one of those terms is no longer in use by entomologists, but common with old school bug nerds. However, since we aren’t using the old term (Homoptera), it doesn’t appear in the text of the products anywhere, and so a search for Homoptera won’t show any products.

    Is there a way to tell your search that when someone searches for Homoptera, it should display Hemiptera results?

    Hi,

    Well that’s how synonyms feature is working. When adding these words “Hemiptera, Homoptera” in the list of synonyms – no matter what of these words users are searching – he will still see the same search results.

    Just don’t forget to reindex the plugin table after adding these synonyms.

    Well, duh! I forgot to re-index the table. It’s working fine now, never mind ??
