    Many thanks for this plugin Mikko! I just discovered the synonyms feature and it is a really big help. Thanks so much for creating that.

    All seems to be working pretty well, but one synonym doesn’t seem to work. I am adding in some synonyms for Thai language related words.

    So far I have added the following for the words Tuk-Tuk and Sumlor:

    tuk=tuktuk
    tuk=tuk-tuk
    tuktuk=tuk
    tuk-tuk=tuk
    sumlor=tuktuk
    sumlor=tuk tuk
    sumlor=tuk

    I just did a search for Sumlor and nothing related to posts tagged with Tuk-Tuk, TukTuk, or any variant of Tuk came up in my search results.

    I am just wondering if perhaps I did something wrong with my syntax?

    Many thanks.

    Are you using the OR search? Synonyms only work in OR search. The syntax is correct.

    Thank you Mikko. I am a bit confused as I am not familiar with OR search. Does you mean I should search for sumlor OR tuktuk?

    Sorry if I misunderstood. But based upon the way I added the synonyms, shouldn’t a search for sumlor also produce results for tuktuk?

    Thank you.

    No, I’m talking about the Relevanssi default operator setting, which can be set to OR or AND. You probably have it set to AND, in which case the synonyms don’t work. If you set it to OR, searching for sumlor will produce results for tuktuk.

    Perfect. Many thanks. Sorted now.
