Each post/page has a canonical field where the original content link can be added. https://kb.yoast.com/kb/canonical-urls-in-wordpress-seo/

Alternatively, you or your developer can use the wpseo_canonical filter to remove the Yoast canonical. An example code snippet can be found here.

While we cannot provide specific code samples, you should be able to use the is_single() and is_post() functions in the filter to achieve this.
