Syndicate doesn't repost on my other site

Update

I discovered that the problem had to do with a changed password on the other website. I solved it, so now Syndicate Out does repost my blogs.

BUT…
[1] I entered a lot of posts with future publication dates: up until and including August 11. The copies on the other website ARE already published! I had to unpublish them manually. So now they’re concepts and I have to remember to publish them at the correct dates. This is NOT what I want, of course. I prepared my posts with a reason: not having to think about them anymore after typing and setting a date.
[2] The tags aren’t copied – that field is completely empty.

This way Syndicate Out is no help at all. It’s even worse: it costs me time. A lot of time.

Please debug your plugin!! The idea is nice, but it’s not working properly.

For now I’ll have to disable this plugin. Please let me know when an update will be available / when my questions are solved.

O, and also the SEO isn’t duplicated, although I run the same SEO plugin on both sites.

So – as I stated above – unfortunately I had to disable Syndicate Out on the source website, the plugin has too many bugs.

To address the points from your seconds post (as I see you realised your error from the first):

1) Are the posts saved on the receiving blog with the date they were syndicated rather than the future date set in the source blog? (While I know it doesn’t solve the problem with the plugin, you could always change the schedule for each post on the receiving blog which has an incorrect date so you don’t have to remember to publish them.)

2) I’ve not had any reports of tags not being copied if posts were. I’m not sure why that would be.

3) There is currently no way to syndicate old posts. This is a popular feature request but has not yet been implemented. (https://github.com/confuzzledduck/syndicate-out/issues/8)

With regard to the SEO data: I’m pretty sure this is because these plugins use additional metadata which isn’t getting transmitted. I need to look into this further and have it on my todo list (https://github.com/confuzzledduck/syndicate-out/issues/13). While these things are high on my list, I’m afraid I don’t have a timescale for them as I have to fit maintaining and developing this plugin in to my own time and I don’t get any compensation for doing so.

1) As far as I can remember, the dates are the dates of typing/saving the posts in my source blog. Putting the dates in the future is a lot of work, that’s why I use syndicate to regulate everything…

2) Is this something you can look at?

3) Thanks. I’m looking forward to an update containing the solutions to my problems.

For now: I won’t use this plugin because of the failures.
