    I installed woocommerce square out of 25 products 949 with variations) only 9 (12 with variations) were created in square. I am getting cURL error 28 errors.
    Steps I have taken:

    I went through and checked all items for SKU (I had missed a few they have been added.)

    Deleted all items & categories from square then resynced the exact same 9 items were created I compared the items that did and did not sync and couldn’t find any differences ..some were actually copies of the ones that did sync with different descrittions & SKU#

    I opened a chat with woocommerce and they told me it was an issue with my server to contact my hosting co

    I spent an hr+ on chat with hostgator and was told I needed to contact woocommerce as it was not on their end, they did give me information on how to access SSH to manage cURL

    I deactivated all plugins, deleted all items & categories in square, then reactivated woocommerce & woocommerce for square once again did a manual sync. The same items 9 items were created.

    I think that if it was a server problem that the same items wouldn’t keep getting created and it has to be something in the product or intergration I just can’t figure out what. if there is DNS issue wouldn’t it affect all the products? Or a problem with timing out due to server issues at best it would be hit & miss what did and didn’t go.

  • Yes we found in some cases the hosting servers resources were limited and therefore would take too long in the process causing the timeout errors you’re seeing. We have fixed this to allow more time for servers/hosting with limited bandwidth/resources to processes syncs. It will be release by Monday next week.
