Synced layout?

    I have a small set of pages where I want a consistent layout (couple of images, text, map etc). Synced Patterns have the same content as well as layout so aren’t suitable here. Non-synced Patterns are better but once they have been added to a page, any changes to the original pattern don’t affect existing pages. I want to be able to make changes to this layout pattern/template/thingy (eg change the image size, or change a spacer etc) and it affects all the existing pages using it. Custom templates do something similar for the overall page, but the page content is just a single block. Seems like I must be missing something … how can I do that?

  • Reusable Blocks with layout-only settings or Template Parts are both options you can try. Reusable blocks can contain the overall structure you want then you can nest inner blocks within the layout to handle content. Template parts can allow you to build your desired layout and then insert the template part into pages.
