    Hello,

I have an ecommerce and I would like to send the tracking numbers of my orders that I have in a Google Sheets to Woo. I was been looking for plugins and I have found “AfterShip” but they only get the information from WooCommerce, but they do not sync the data with WooCommerce.

So I can connect WooCommerce, but AfterShip will not sync the order with WooCommerce just Woocommerce will sync orders with AfterShip.

You they tell me to check with you sync with Google Sheets and Woo Commerce. Is there a way to achieve this? Maybe tru an API?

    Regards and thank you

    Hi @monicaamb12,

AfterShip is an excellent tool for tracking, but it doesn’t directly sync data back to WooCommerce. However, you can achieve this by using the Zapier extension for WooCommerce.

Zapier is a tool that allows you to connect and automate tasks between different apps, in this case, Google Sheets and WooCommerce. With this extension, you can create a “Zap” that automatically updates your WooCommerce orders with the tracking numbers from your Google Sheets.

Additionally, you can also use the WooCommerce Google Sheet Connector or Order Sync with Google Sheets for WooCommerce plugin. It allows you to sync orders between WooCommerce and Google Sheets.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Thank you very much!!!

I actually have Make and I have tried what you said but I don’t know which option I need to use. I can attach you an image:

So I can use both plugins you shared with me instead of use Zapier or Make? Are they free plugins?

    THANK YOU

    hey, @monicaamb12!

Please note that Make, WooCommerce Google Sheet Connector?and Order Sync with Google Sheets for WooCommerce are all third-party plugins, so while we mentioned the last two as options, since they seem to be what you need, we are not able to assist you with them. But both of them have demo and paid versions.

To know more about their features, costs and how they work, I suggest reaching out directly to their support so they can provide you with the information you need to see if the plugins are a good fit for your needs.

I hope this was clarifying. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Thank you!!!

I understand what you mean. But the question is when you said:

“With this extension, you can create a “Zap” that automatically updates your WooCommerce orders with the tracking numbers from your Google Sheets.”

How can I do that? In which field of Woo I need to write to sync with AfterShip?

    Hi @monicaamb12,

How can I do that? In which field of Woo I need to write to sync with AfterShip?

You’ll need to install the WooCommerce Zapier plugin and check out the technical guide right here.

If you have any questions before you decide to purchase or try the plugin, feel free to contact us at Woo.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Here are some additional information that might help you understand the process:

I actually have Make and I have tried what you said but I don’t know which option I need to use.

Did you follow the guide they shared here? However, as my colleague mentioned, it would be best to contact their support for further assistance.

Additionally, if this looks pretty technical, I recommend you seek help from the following:

I have already tested in Make and unfortunately it doesn’t work because there is no field in WooCommerce called “Tracking number”.

So I can send it by the field of “Customer Note” but this is not the idea.

    Hi @monicaamb12,

Yes, by default, the “Tracking number” field is unavailable in WooCommerce. However, you may use a plugin that adds this field to your orders, such as WooCommerce Shipment Tracking, Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce, or Order Tracking for WooCommerce.

This plugin adds a tracking number and carrier name field to your orders. Once this plugin is installed and set up, you can use Zapier or any other tool to sync this information with your Google Sheets.

Please note that these are third-party plugins, and while we recommend them based on your needs, we cannot provide direct support for them. If you have any questions about how to use this plugin, I recommend contacting the plugin’s support team.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Thank you very much for the help.

So these plugins you mentioned that add tracking number are similar to AfterShip?

I make you this question because the reason that I installed AfterShip it is because automatic emails are sending with the tracking numbers to the customers so they can follow up it order.

    Hey, @monicaamb12!

Both WooCommerce Shipment Tracking and?Order Tracking for WooCommerce share tracking information via email.

Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce is not covered by us, but according to their plugin page, they also have this option.

    I hope this was clarifying.

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.
