• I would like to use the wp-help as a dashboard widget across a network of sites in WP multisite. I have installed the wp-help widget on the main site and a few sub sites. The help articles are published on the main site only. The key from the main site is copied into the subsites -> wp-help dashboard settings -> Sync Pull section -> full url.

The subsites do not display the list of documents. Could you give me an idea of what might cause the pull sync to fail in this type of setup?

If I print_r($this), I get an array that shows the slurp_url with the correct main site URL. Somehow, the subsites are failing to pick up this value.

Thanks in advance for any help on where to look or what to modify.

  • I guess my first question would be whether the sub-sites are domain mapped or do they share the TLD in their URL structure?

My second thought, is to not try to ‘fix’ this plugin for the purpose you’ve stated. You might try this one instead. Although I haven’t tried this, it should be able to do what you’re after pretty easily.
