sync problems with polylang

  • Hi there
    I have set the sync of polylang to sync all the info and media from the page I translate, and activated it in language settings. Than i translated few pages, creating the equivalent English page for my Hebrew ones. The pages appeared blank. I checked the settings again and the sync option was deactivated. I activated it again, making sure I save it and repeated the process with the same results. Blank pages and the sync option deactivated.
    I noticed that whenever I change language the sync is being deactivated and all it’s options deselected/
    Any idea?

    Could you please deactivate all your plugins (except Polylang) and switch to Twenty Sixteen and check if you get the same error?

    Just did it. Same problem with 2016 theme and all plugins deactivated )-:

    Whether the synchronizations are activated or not, Polylang always copies all metadatas from the source post when creating a new translation (except the content, the media added by “Add media”, the title).

    Could you edit the file wp-config.php in your WordPress root directory and replace

    define( 'WP_DEBUG', false );

    by

    define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

    This should display an error message in the debug.log.

    I tried that too. the settings stay OK, but yet nothing is being copied to the translated page.
    Sync is activated with all the options, also media is activated.
    What to do ?

    Have you an error message in the debug.log?
