Is there a way to sync objects that have not been updated in a long time?

Example, salesforce account has inventory that is 5 years old, and is not often updated. Is there a simple way to bring in all of that legacy data?

@pro_wp there is not currently functionality in this plugin to do this. I think it would be great to add it, but it is rather complicated and we haven’t been able to get to it.

There is a GitHub issue to track the need for this functionality (https://github.com/MinnPost/object-sync-for-salesforce/issues/98), and it kind of evaluates the Drupal equivalent (basically the Drupal 6 module tried it and it didn’t work reliably; the Drupal 7 module didn’t even try it) and how it might possibly work in WordPress. But so far no further work has been done on this feature.

I do think eventually this would be a good thing, but certainly there’s no ETA or current progress to speak of.

Thank you for the quick answer on that. I have a client with legacy data that will be difficult to get updated in SF because there are so many records.

I was thinking about a filter on the updated since date. Users would have to be careful with this since it would be a heavy load on the server, so there is probably quite a few moving parts to think about.

I appreciate your answer very much.
