Sync Post Types and Taxonomies

I’m glad to hear that you enjoy this plugin ??

That’s something I have in mind, the ability to export/import (json/php) Post Types, Taxonomies, Options Pages & Block Types. I was very busy lately with the latest ACF Extended update for Flexible Content. But now it’s out, I can focus on others features.

I still have to update documentation & website, so yeah it’s kind of tough to do everything, but I definitely want that feature.

I’ll let you know as soon as it’s available. If you don’t mind, I mark this report as solved, because it’s more a feature request than a bug ??

Small note: For the moment I don’t have a quick way to let you import/export Dynamic Post Types. But:

Dynamic Post Type is a simple post-type named acfe-dpt with a bunch of post_meta. You should be able to export/import it with some tools like: WP All Import/Export.

Once imported on the new environment, you just have to re-save the post types in the UI, so it will trigger the ACF Extended registration hooks ??

I haven’t tested it, but it should work.

I’ll let you know when I come up with a solution for that.

Just to let you know that the new update include Import & Export for Post Types, Taxonomies, Block Types & Options Pages ??

You can bulk Import & Export from ACF > Tools admin page. It is also possible to export a specific Post Type from the Tools > Post Types admin, in the row action.
