sync orders from etsy to Woo

During the process of syncing orders from Etsy to WooCommerce, if the SKU does not match, the order will be created inside Plugins order page. However, it will not be synced to the WooCommerce orders page.

The remarks on the order page will indicate that the corresponding product is not available on WooCommerce.

In cases where the SKU does match, the order & inventory will be automatically synced.

Please note that this process does not generate any errors.

Is it planned to change this behaviour?

I imagine the following procedure:
1. I have a dummy product in WooCommerce
2. If a SKU does not match, your plugin uses the dummy product and fills this with the title and price from etsy.
3. The etsy order will be synced to WooCommerce order page.

And second question.
We have a lot of products with many variations. Every variation has an own SKU.
Is it possible to sync such an order to WooCommerce order page? (we don’t sync products from WooCommerce to etsy, we manage every channel separate)

May I know if you mean you do not want to upload your products however would like to sync your Etsy orders to WooCommerce.

We can help you manage the syncing of orders however, you must have matching SKUs on both platforms. For our plugin to sync your products inventories and orders, you must have same SKU in Etsy as well as WooCommerce.

It will not matter if you have lots of variations, as long as you have matching SKUs for variation products on Etsy and WooCommerce, our app will be able to fetch the orders and sync your inventories totally fine.

If you do not have matching SKUs, all Etsy orders will be fetched into order section of our plugin however it will not sync to your WooCommerce Order page and will not link with the dummy product of your WooCommerce.
