    Hi Mailchimp,

Thanks for making this plugin. Unfortunately I have an issue with syncing with probabbly is related to WP Background Processing Library. The jobs get into the queue but the queue is never processed. Only when I run it manually via WP-CLI the queue is being processed. Now I have DISABLE_WP_CRON enable, can this affect the functionality?

    Hey @martijnn94,

Thanks for the post. I totally understand the concern here as the sync should not require manual prompting. I’d like to grab a few additional details to dig in. Do you mind replying back here with the following details?

    – What theme is installed on your page?
    – What other plugins are active? (List or screenshot is fine, whichever is easier)
    – If you temporarily switch to a default theme and deactivate all other plugins aside from WooCommerce and MailChimp for WooCommerce does the behavior persist?
    – What version of PHP is installed?
    – What version of MySQL?
    – What version of WordPress are you using?
    – What version of MailChimp for WooCommerce is currently installed?

Thanks – we look forward to hearing back and helping out!

    Hey @martijnn94

Thanks for getting back to us with that additional information – I forgot to ask, what default WordPress theme did you temporarily revert to when deactivating all other plugins for testing? I realize I can’t totally mirror your WordPress environment since there is a custom theme installed, but if the behavior persisted while using a default WordPress theme I could certainly test with that specific theme on my end.

Thanks! I’m looking forward to hearing back and helping out as much as possible.

    Warm Regards,

    Hi @martijnn94,

I hope all is well on your end. I just wanted to reach out one last time to see if you happen to recall what theme you switched to during your testing. Either way, we hope you have an excellent weekend ahead of you!

    Thanks,

    Pearl

    Hey @martijnn94,

I wanted to reach back out once more and let you know that we have gotten additional reports of this behavior and our developers are actively looking into a potential conflict with WP-CLI. While our developers work towards resolving any issues that exist, a temporary workaround would be to use the “wp queue listen” command to process all the jobs in the queue table as another forum poster mentioned here. We recommend running that on a schedule for now.

I apologize for any trouble this has been causing and I look forward to following up here once the issue has been resolved.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Hi Mailchimp,

Thanks for the information. I’ll run supervisor in the meantime!

    Hi @martijnn94,

I hope all is well on your end! I wanted to reach back out today and see if updating to the recently released MailChimp for WooCommerce version 2.0.0 resolved this issue for you. It may be good to note that WooCommerce also recently released some pretty major updates and it will be necessary to have the latest version of WooCommerce installed as well. Thanks! If you see any wonky behavior persist after updating please let us know and we will continue to pass details along to our devs to allow them to look closer.

    Thank you!

    Pearl
