• Hi!
The Mailchimp for Woocommerce plugin is synchronizing all orders (even failed or cancelled ones).
In my case, I have segments based on the number of orders in my store. Mailchimp thinks that a customer that bought one time (and tried other 4 times with uncompleted orders) is the one with more purchases, with a revenue of the total amount, not only the order he finished. Like this client, there are some others with more than 1 order when they have only ordered once.
Is there any option to limit this and sync only “completed” orders, or, at least, “procesing” and “completed”?
Just updated this plugin and resync all the info. Still the same.
Maybe this is the normal plugin function. In that case, this feature would be great!

  • Hi @jgonzalezd,

Thanks for reaching out – and thank you so much for sending us all of this information upfront. It really helps us out with the trouble shooting process and is greatly appreciated!

To address your question, we have gotten a couple of reports about this behavior and I was able to replicate it on my end in a testing environment. I agree that it is confusing behavior that needs to be addressed. To get the ball rolling, I went ahead and passed this information along internally to allow our devs to take a look. I won’t be able to provide an estimated time frame for resolution, but this is an issue and we are looking into the best way to get that resolved.

Thanks again – please feel free to reach back out at any time to check for updates or ask any additional MailChimp for WooCommerce related questions.

    Sincerely,

    Pearl
