    Hi @alanp57,

you already have a .webp filter for the sync folder option. Most of the new image optimization tools (e.g. Imagify) also creating .avif files. Would it be possible to add this file type to the filter list as well?

Is there a hook to just add file types additionally?

    Best regards,

    BXR

I’ve just tested syncing an avif file with Media Library Folders 8.2.1, while running WordPress 6.5.3, and it was successfully imported into the media library. If you still not able to sync avif files, you could share with me how your site is configured by going to the Media Library Support page, on your site, to the System Info tab and highlighting and copying your site’s details and send them to support at maxfoundry.com.

    Hi Alan,

Thank you for the quick answer. Yes indeed I see all the .avif files and the different size variations of my main image as soon as I click on the “sync” icon. But I don’t want to see them, I want to hide all the alternative .avif files and re-sized versions of the original image.

I was assuming that’s why you have put the .webp filter in your options menu. Sorry if this got lost in translation.

    Thank you again.
