    Hi,
I have a problem with the cataloge on facebook it shows me products as in stock but in my shop they are out of stock. Its a problem because I am running ads right now.

I have also cleared the cache, wc tables and cleared the cataloge.

The strange thing is if I open a product with out of stock and save it without any changes than it gets synced correctly rigth after the save.

    Does anybody have an idea?

    Thanks

  • Hi @cherrycoding,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand that you’re facing an issue with the stock status of your products not syncing correctly between your WooCommerce shop and your Facebook catalog. This can indeed be problematic, especially when running ads, but I’m here to help.

First, I’d like to understand if you had a chance to take a look at our troubleshooting guide on sync issues: https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#sync-issues. If not, please take a look at it and let us know how it goes.

    We’re here to help.

    Hi

thanks for your response. I tried the steps last thing was delete the products and the cataloge but when I did this the sync schedulded task was running so I deleted it.

Now the scheduled action (daily) for recreating the catalog is gone how can I add it again?

I did a manual sync at first and now I am checking the next days if the problem still exists with the stock.

    Hello cherrycoding,

Thank you for detailing the steps you took.

Could you please share a screenshot of your Scheduled Actions page?
I’d like to review the actions currently set.

Facebook for WooCommerce should recreate a scheduled action to sync products with your Facebook account automatically. Please monitor your site for the next 24 hours and let me know how it goes.

I’m here to assist you further if needed. ??

    Best regards.

    Hi @cherrycoding ,

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. It is indeed not showing any Facebook sync scheduled.

There is something preventing the action from reacting. Can you please try deleting the plugin, reinstalling it, and reconnecting with your Facebook account again to see if this solves the issue?

Please make sure to perform a manual sync again to re-trigger the action hook.

However, it’s important to note that out-of-stock products in WooCommerce are not synced to Facebook by default. This means that when a product’s stock reaches zero, the update isn’t automatically reflected on Facebook. This can cause discrepancies where products appear in stock on Facebook but are actually unavailable in your store.

For more details, please refer to this documentation: https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce-products-are-not-displaying-in-facebook-shop/#cause-of-out-of-stock-products-not-showing

    I hope this helps.

Thanks but how can I create the action manually? I’m afraid of disabling and reconnect as we had some issues in the past then.

Also I have a problem now with a product which is deleted or has no stock and is still in the ads as you mentioned. Does this mean I we have a product with zero stock or we delete a product we have to do it manually on facebook?

    Thanks

    Hello,

There is not an option to create the connection manually.

Out-of-stock products in WooCommerce are not synced to Facebook by default, this cannot be modified.

We advise you to open an issue on the repository, so that the developers can look into adding this feature in the future.

    Sorry for any inconvenience.

    Kind regards,
    Marija
