    Hi, on previous versions, we. used to be able to request a resync of the order data. This appears to be now missing? Can I ask why this has happened and why we cannot ask for a resync of the data please. Thanks

    Hi @kirstylmarks, thank you for bringing this to our attention. I’d like to provide some clarity on why we took out the resync button in the 4.0 version of the plugin.

    1. Low Usage: Historically, this resync button was rarely used. When the plugin is installed and configured correctly, manual syncing is generally unnecessary.
    2. Misleading Indicator: The presence of the sync button often gave a false impression that it was required for resolving syncing issues. In most cases, these issues stemmed from conflicts with other plugins, server configuration problems, or issues with the Action Scheduler, rather than our plugin itself.
    3. Feedback and Future Plans: Based on user feedback, we recognize that some of you find this feature helpful. We plan to reintroduce the resync button in a future update to better support our users’ needs.

    In the meantime, if you encounter syncing issues, please consider the following common causes:

    • Conflicts with other plugins or themes
    • Problems with the Action Scheduler
    • Server configuration issues

    Addressing these areas typically resolves syncing problems more effectively than manual syncing.
