• We are experiencing a possible issue. When we use the Zettle app to process a transaction, it creates an order in WooCommerce. But in our last few orders, that hasn’t happened. We are not sure how to get that functionality back.

Additionally, is there a way to push the “Low Stock Status” indicator to Zettel from WooCommerce as opposed to having to set that directly through Zettle?

And finally, Zettle offers categories in its product library — can we push WooCommerce Categories to Zettle? And if we can’t and create categories in Zettle, will that interfere with WooCommerce in any manner?

    Hello @mwailes_spectrum,

thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help. My appologies for the long wait, as we were understaffed during the holiday season.

You raised 3 different issues with us, so let me try to answer them in order:

    1. Our plugin only has as its function to synchronize stock values between the order libraries you have on WooCommerce and Zettle. The initial sync, can only sync from WC to Zettle, not the other way around. There is no feature included in the plugin, where it would sync orders from one side to the other, so this never was an option in the past. We do have a feature request open for this, but so far this was not picked up.
    2. Push “Low Stock Status” indicator – This is not something that the plugin can do, our team only works on the WordPress plugin and we can’t push such a thing to Zettle. You would have to reach out to Zettle itself to ask for this.
    3. Category sync – This item is similar to point 1; the only thing our plugin does is syncing the product with the name, description, stock, price, and image. The category is unfortunately not included at the moment. We also have a feature request open for this, but did not get approval to develop the feature. We are not sure how long it will take before this is added, as we have not included many new features to this plugin over the last year. But currently, this is not an option in our plugin. This lack of categories does not affect the sync in any way. You can adjust this in Zettle, without it affecting the WooCommerce library.

I hope this answers your questions. If you have any further questions, please let me know.

    Kind regards,
    Joost van de Vijver
