Symlink to the original file / Sell Images

Hello,

I have some questions.

1) Use symlinks instead of physical copy of the file to create the gallery.

I’m testing the plugin to create a set of galleries, the objective is to be able to sell the images or to grant the rights to use or print the images.

At the moment, when the gallery is created, the files are copied if they already exist in the media library to the imported_from_media_library directory.

Is it possible to work with symlinks instead of a physical copy of the photos?

If the image is in raw format or in a “printing quality” format the space used could be really big. ( 1,000 + images )

2) Is it possible to test the ecommerce module?

What I’m looking is to be able to show and sell from the gallery (In very low resolution) be able to deliver the image in the requested image resolution.

3) PO Box (Digital)

Is it possible to implement something like a Digital PO Box ? When the customer place an order, all the files requested are placed in a “Digital PO Box” with an specific Key to download and open the images. (Nice to have – a limited number of downloads, before the PO Box disappears)
