Symbols in text after update

  • Hey guys,

    I updated to the latest version of Zerif Lite, and symbols appeared to replace some of the punctuation.

    It didn’t happen for all the text, but for anywhere that it did, that text block disappeared in the CMS (but still displayed on the site, only with symbols inserted in there)

    I’ve fixed it up for now, but can someone please tell me how to prevent that happening again?

    I am not exactly sure what might have caused this. Can you provide more information? Has this happened before? Also, what version of the theme did you update from? Which plugins were active when you updated the theme? Thanks!
