Sydney theme – would like slider to be portal to my site

  • Hello,
    I have three questions concerning the Sydney theme.
    1) The full images are not showing in the sliders. I have tried resizing the images as well as compressing them but so far nothing has worked. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
    2) I would like the slider to be ‘the portal’ to my site and the rest of the site accessible only through the call to action buttons or the menu links (have the sliders separate from the rest of the pages)…is that possible?
    3) Is it possible to make the layer the text is written on (on the pages) semi-transparent so a background image could be seen through them?
