I am building an employee page using the Sydney FP: Employees Widget.

I am displaying 3 employees in each row. The problem I am having is that I can’t get the employees to appear in the order that I want them to.

I want emp1 to be on the left, emp2 to be in the middle and emp3 to be on the right.

In the following field, “Enter the slug for your category or leave empty to show all employees”, I have entered the following inputs:

    emp3, emp2, emp1
    emp1, emp2, emp3
    emp2, emp1, emp3

No matter what order I input the employees, they keep showing up on my page in the same order from left to right.

The employee I want on the left is on the right and vice-versa. I can’t figure out what the problem is. Can anyone help?

  • Hi,

the slug is working to filter the employee items when its displayed, not to sort the position.

You can try to change the published date for each employee items to re-arrange the position. As default, all post is displayed order by the published date.

@ccsol Nope, the newest published date will displayed first.
