Switching themes not using lists or drop-downs

I’m wanting to switch themes, using clickable images, such as those at Muggle.net (https://www.mugglenet.com), instead of the Theme Switcher plugin’s drop-down or listing function. Is that possible? I don’t know much about PHP (or editting plugins, so doing that will only screw me up), but I can link images with the best of them.
