Switching themes for mobile use

    I am using my a theme customized from the Canyon theme and then I have the “any mobile switcher” plugin that switches it to use the Yoko theme when opened on a mobile device.

    the problem I have is that if the Canyon theme is the activated one, the mobile theme looks awful. it doesn’t display any widgets and pulls in the header image from the Canyon theme.

    If the Yoko them is activated, it all looks perfect on my mobile but then obviously displays the wrong theme on a desktop.

    Why is there a deifference when the theme is activated as opposed to when it’s just switched to?
