Genesis and Thesis are both good frameworks, but do your homework to see which is right for you before deciding which one to use.

Just to add… it *is* as easy as switching to a new theme. Even frameworks are still themes.

You may wish to do some customizations and you might have to move some widgets around, set up a nav menu, but nothing happens to your actual content.
