Switching templates

    Hello,

    I am thinking of switching templates from the Child Theme to Tesseract Theme. I currently have woocommerce and shopping cart installed in my site https://www.protovest.com and I’m afraid of losing items and/or plugins and I want to make sure that the switch won’t do much damage.

    Is there a way that I can make sure that there won’t be any issues before I make the switch? I was told to keep the child theme instead but I don’t see what harm switching templates could cause. Can someone explain?
