Switching startpage to a static page

  • Hi,

    I want to change my startpage to a static one. But when I change this in the menu to static startpage a combination of pages is shown and when I pick the ‘edit’ button on top of the page it is showing the page I want to use as my startingpage. What am I doing wrong?

    I don’t quite understand what you mean here.

    Is the problem that the Home link in your menu shows as https://www.shpountz.nl/?p=296 instead of just https://www.shpountz.nl/? If so, try removing that menu item from your custom menu. Then, reselect the page you’ve set as your static front page from the list of pages in your custom menu area. You may need to select the “View All” tab if you don’t see the correct page there.
