Switching Sitemap from Jetpack to Yoast

    Currently, the Jetpack Sitemap is used in Google Search Console. I would like to change this to the Yoast Sitemap. How do I properly go about this without any impacts to my existing presence in search?

    1) Do I just add the Yoast Sitemap and delete Jetpack Sitemap at the same time?
    2) Have both added at the same time and wait for Yoast Sitemap to show as crawled?
    3) No harm in having both?
    4) Other ways?

    Disable Jetpack sitemap
    Enable Yoast sitemap (default setting)
    Remove Jetpack sitemap(s) from Google Search Console (GSC)
    Add Yoast sitemap index to GSC

    Note: There is no harm in having both for a short period of time but both should not be submitted long term as they contain the same information which may confuse Google.
