I want to disable the WP Offload S3 Lite plugin. I wanted to ask, whether I need to take any steps before I do this, so that the images don’t break?

The “Object Versioning” option is enabled. I am not sure but I think this might cause problems if I disable the plugin because when I tried changing the URL of the images (from the current URL to the likely URL via which they would be served on the blog), it didn’t work out of the box. To share an example –

    My Current Images URL –
    images.blogname.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/12345678/imagename.jpg

When I tried testing with (www.blogname.com is my actual blog URL) –
    https://www.blogname.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/12345678/imagename.jpg

    This doesn’t work

To make it work, I have to remove the random numbers from the URL (likely added via the object versioning feature) –
    https://www.blogname.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/imagename.jpg

So, I want to ask, when I disable the plugin, will the URL automatically change to the one without those random numbers?

Secondly, the “Remove Files From Server” option has been currently switched off but that was not the case always (aka some files might be missing from the local server). Can this also cause issues?

Thirdly, if the filename for more than one uploaded image is the same, will there be a problem. This is not a concern currently because the images are stored in separate folders in S3 but that likely wouldn’t be the case when I disable this plugin.
