buggy switching of displayed table rate when not selected ( tax rate)

    hey there,

    i am currently testing
    wp 4.2.4
    woocommerce 2.4.4
    WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping by Mangohour 1.1.0

    a. i have 2 shipping options activated: local pickup, which is free and table rate shipping which has cost depending on countries attached to it.
    b. shipping is configured to be taxable.
    c. taxrate is configured to be 20%.
    d. prices are configured to INCLUDE the tax.

    now, on the checkout page, if i select the table rate, it displays the shipping cost correctly (eg 4), but if i select the other shipping method, the shipping cost for the table rate suddenly switches to include another time the tax rate (eg 4.8). if i switch back to table rate, the displayed costs switch back to 4 again and are included with this number into the total order price. this only happens if (b.) is true. it does not happen if, shipping is configured to be not taxable.

    why is that? shouldn’t the table rate always be displayed with the same number? and if i configure prices to INCLUDE tax in the woocommerce plugin, then the table rate plugin should not add the tax to the shipping cost if it is taxable anyways, but deduct it, if it is configured to be not taxable.
    imo there is a bug and a missimplementation coming together here.

    anyways, behaving like this, i am not sure, if i can use this plugin.

    Hi MadBong,

    The shipping cost will usually stay the same, depending on your settings. By default, the shipping will display excluding tax with the tax added to the tax total. If the price is jumping around this does sound odd – if you have a link to demonstrate this I will happily have a look.

    Costs can only be entered tax-exclusive in the free plugin, the tax is then added depending on the tax setting. Tax-inclusive costs are a feature that has just been added to the premium version, Table Rate Shipping Plus for WooCommerce. If you need this then I recommend you try it out.
