• I know this topic was covered before in a post which is now closed, but I just would like to see if anybody has found a solution in the meantime.

I have a site which was built using the page lines DMS theme. It’s a WYSIWYG type framework. Apparently it’s completely incompatible with a standard WordPress themes files and methods. For example if I’m logged in and hit the edit page on the admin toolbar when it switches into the editor mode there is no content in the editor.

So it looks like the home page is the only thing that has to be recreated, though the layout of the child pages has to be cleaned up.

Another thing is if you switch to a different theme and select a word press theme there is no content, no menus, though it does show posts. However, the menu exists, it’s just not selected in the WP theme. It’s just a matter of selecting where you want it to show.

It would appear that there are no tools or information for switching away from the page lines DMS theme to a normal WordPress theme.

Does anyone have any information on how I could possibly switch to a normal word press theme without having to rebuild the site from scratch? Thank you very much.
