Hi, I am using Woocommerce on a site that defaults to using the classic editor. In normal posts and pages I have the option to switch to the block editor, but not for Woocommerce products. Is this just not possible? It has big implications for the other users of the website.

    Hi there!

Currently, WooCommerce Core still uses the Classic Editor for editing products. A bit more about the history of why that is can be found on this GitHub thread.

That being said, there are third-party plugins that can allow you to edit products with the WordPress block editor. I would suggest the Blocks for Products plugin.

I hope that helps! Stay safe ??

Thanks Kyle that is useful confirmation – and makes it all the more strange that the availability calendar extension seems to *only* work with the block editor!!
