switcher in menu, theme twenty-twenty four

    I have installed Polylang. I’m using the twenty-twenty four theme
    In Appearance > Menu, I have added ‘Language selector”.
    But it still does not appear on the page.

    In the forum, I read that 2 years ago it did not work on the theme twenty-twenty two. Has the issue never been resolved?
