Switcher in main menu

Is there a way to put the currency switcher dropdown in main menu? If it can show the current / selected currency as the menu’s title, that would be ideal. But other solution such as creating custom menu and nesting the currency options as its children would work too.
Perhaps I can try hacking my menu by hard-coding your dropdown switcher to my header template? I prefer a more elegant solution, though. And anything easier would be great.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
