Switcher Dropdown Text Length

    I’m currently using the shortcode [woocommerce_currency_switcher_drop_down_box] to create a currency switcher dropdown in my site’s header. The entries are really long (e.g. United States (US) dollar)… I’d like the list of currencies to be much more concise like: $ USD or € EUR or ? BTC … Is there a way to achieve this modifying the plugin’s code?
