    Hi

This seems like it might be a silly question but is there any documentation on adding content to the Switcher block?

I want to do something simple like have 2 images presented as Before and After using the Switcher but I can’t understand how it works.

When I add the Switcher Block to the page I see 2 locked Container/Wrappers blocks are added within it. Even if I add content within these containers or change the container’s backgrounds I don’t see anything on the screen and the Switch does not function.

    thanks

    Hi

Not wishing to be difficult but there’s nothing to see on a page except a switch which doesn’t switch.

This linked screenshot shows what I see when adding the Switcher Block to a page.

Could you give some guidance on how to add content to the locked Containers?
The containers content areas are not visible when they are selected.

I’m aware that with the Slider Block the slides are locked and content is added via the Block Control Panel not via List View, but I do not see any of these options with the Switcher Block.
I have tried this on a few sites using a variety of themes; eg Greenshift, Kadence, Blocksy the results are the same.
I do not see any errors in Console when viewing the page in a browser.

Check options of block. Maybe you disabled Content area in options. Also, do you use Firefox, as I remember latest Firefox has problems with some modern css rules :has which is used in switcher.

If it’s critical then better to use tabs block instead

    Hi
Firefox is the solution. Or rather not using Firefox.
The Switcher Blocks works as expected in Brave browser.
I’ll have look at Tabs block / re-consider the design.

    thanks

    Hi!

Will firefox try to repair this or is it a permanent problem? Or will you try to make the block working in firefox?

    Thanks!

It’s not bug. Firefox simply doesn’t support modern css pseudo elements, but they will add in future, currently it’s supported in experimental mode

Ok, clear now. I hope they add it soon.

    Thank you!
