• switched from godaddy to name.com for our site

    now,

    – page loading is sluggish
    – getting 404 errors upon cloning or saving drafts (yes, I tried deactivating all plugins, but that didn’t help)
    – can’t upload audio files larger than 8MB

why would switching hosts create those problems?

    anyone?

    respectfully,

    Patrick Lafferty

  • did someone help you switch hosts?

Did you check all required features to move your site?

Web host keep the file upload limit to 8MB. But you can change it as you need to by making couple of changes.

Do you still have backup of your site? keep it safe and ask name.com to migrate your site.

I’d assumed hosting sites were all equal–and they may be once I find out the source of the problems here.

I’m almost entirely ignorant of how to administer PHP, but what setting do I adjust to allow for larger uploads?

    thanks for your comment, emember
