Switched from Windows to Linux – can't get site back up

  • I backed up my whole public_html folder, did a backup of the WordPress DB and switched my web hosting to a Linux package.

    But I can’t get things up and running again.

    What should the sequence of events be? Simply copying the public_html folder over was no good, installing WordPress again and then copying the files over hasn’t helped either.

    Can someone help?
