Switch From PP to SPP

I am wanting to switch from using Powerpress as my podcast player, to using the Smart Podcast Player.

Am I able to keep Powerpress on my site to upload my media files to blubrry, but not have it display the player on the pages? If so, would the option in the settings that says “Disable- Player and media links will NOT appear in your post and page content. Media player and links can be added manually by using the shortcode below.” allow me to upload the media file without the player showing onto the post?

If that can’t be done, is there a way to schedule out when media files are to be released directly from the blubrry dashboard?
