Switch fileformat via NextGallery

    Hey,

    I have been using NextGallery for a very long while now and sadly with everything going on I am looking at cutting down on the amount of storage I am using and noticed that I have been uploading many years worth of images as PNG and from a quick local test I have noticed converting over to JPG will cut this down by quite a lot.

    So I am wondering if there is a way to do this via NextGallery without having to do it manually and then re-uploading everything into the galleries.

    I am sorry to say that there isn’t such a possibility to convert the images’ format via NextGen Gallery plugin without having to manually convert the images locally then re-upload them to NextGen.

    I’ve heard that Imagify used to have such a feature but I am unsure that it will work for NextGen to be honest: https://imagify.io/documentation/how-to-convert-image/
    Feel free to reach Imagify support and ask them if this would be achievable.
