Switch between themes? plugins dissapears.

  • So after having some problems with my selected theme. I thought I would switch over to the “twenty ten” and give it a shot since I read switching back and forth is no problem and nothing goes away.

    And when I switched back after A while I almost crapped my pants. All the plugins were gone and I had to put them “back on” manually through widgets. ANyway to prevent this if I want to play around in the twnety ten again and add custom bars and such. And I dont want to have to re add all the plugins and stuff each time.

    followup. How can I play around with different themes without messing on the actual website? I mean to the extent of changing colors, adding sidebars etc in one themse and still having the current one show on the website?

    is there a good plugin for that? Tried searching and found some but it only says “preview” I dont know if I can change a bunch of stuff.

    I want to play around with a completly new design without it affecting the current site and easy to just stop and go back to what it looked like before..
