Switch auto role when purchasing a certain product (subscription)

  • Hi,

    I would like to know if is possible to assign roles depending on product the customer subscribe (subscription product). Like member style, if they buy bronce subscription that cost X amount auto assing “Bronce” role, if they buy gold subscription they get the “Gold” role immediatelly. If they cancel subscription, the role cameback to a default role like “Customer” role.

    It will be awesome for members / subscription sites.

    Hi Fernando,

    This is definitely possible but not with this plugin as this is intended for a developer testing purpose. The functionality you are looking for should be available as part of your subscription plugin. If not already there then it should be extendable to assign the custom roles to the user.

    I would suggest checking with your subscription plugin first. If that’s not available then we could look to extend the plugin.
