Swipebox included

    I am thinking about loading “Swipebox” on advice of my theme company, but I see all kinds of complaints when I search. Is it really good?

    Why do you want to disable it? Is it causing problems?

    Tip; There is a plugin I found called “simplify admin panel” that works great. Let’s you delete some of the stuff you normally can’t delete and you never know it’s there. Might help you deactivate.

    I don’t know what peculiar problem Swipebox may create. I was complaining about the automatic utilisation of Swipebox in this plugin because I prefer another Lightbox effect (PrettyPhoto) and there is no option to change the effect in Gamma Gallery.
    So Swipebox itself is not in cause.

    simplify admin panel manages only the apparence of the admin pages and cannot do anything for plugins or themes javascript. For this, you need to edit yourself plugins or themes.

    Does it include swipebox? I was hoping to find a plugin that used swipebox – but
    swipebox swipes – and Gamma Gallery doesn’t (or at least the demo doesn’t) and there’s no reference to swipebox in the article the author links to. The tiled gallery is impressive and the carousel is at lest as good as Jetpack so far as I can see.
