I have tried all of these. Nothing is showing still. I have no idea what the issue is. Here are the steps I took:

    1. I logged into the wp-admin on the beta site, and switched the url’s to the new site in the general settings.

    2. I then packaged all the files, and exported the database.

    3. I set up a new database and user on the new site, then uploaded the files to the new site and imported the database.

    4. I edited the database information in the config.php file to match the new database. I also went through the tables and changed any instances of the old url to the new one.

I get a blank screen for the admin log in as well as just trying to access the site. Coding is not my strongest suit, I’m a designer, and have no idea where to start looking for this issue.

You have not mentioned anything about pointing or directing your domain to the destination installation. If the saves at Dashboard > General > Settings were correct, the very next step is to make your domain actually land at the server-path location where it can encounter the wp-config.php file for that installation. To do that, I either do my assigning at cPanel or use .htaccess to redirect, but there even more ways different people either prefer or must use for doing that.

    What do you mean?

If the settings in wp-config.php at your intended/desired installation location are correct, and if that database is set to recognize the incoming URL, then going to that URL in a browser should land there. So, I mean to be suggesting your domain is possibly not being sent to the correct location since that is something that has to be done in order to reach WordPress. Or to ask in another way: Is your desired installation where your domain is expecting to find one?

I figured this out with the help of our contract web developer. Thanks!
