Swf in sidebar

Hi there.

I’d like to put a swf file in my side bar but have no idea how to do it.

I thought that I may be able to edit sidebar.php in dreamweaver and simply put the swf file in the sidebar that way. (using insert – media – flash)

Unfortunately when I uploaded the file to my site the swf didn’t play.

I imagine that it’s sidebar.php that I have to put the swf in to I just don’t know the code to achieve this.

Can anyone tell me if there is code to do this and what it is?
