    Hi,

We’re trying to commit to the www.remarpro.com SVN and we’re getting a PHP parse error on a SVN pre-commit hook.

    This must be very new.

The parse error is for PHP 7.1 code and so it’s blocking perfectly legitimate code here.

I know all about php 5.2 requirements etc., but that’s not a problem here. We account for this.

I’ve moved this out of Developing with WordPress to Everything else WordPress as it’s not really that sort of topic.

Can you ask in the #pluginreview Slack channel or send an email to [email protected] about this?

If you’re getting an error, then an error actually exists, but it may not be obvious.

Email plugins as indicated. We can help you.

Thanks for following up guys – I’ve emailed you with more info after I got to the bottom of the problem. I still think you have a parser issue, but I’ve outlined this further in the email.

    Thanks!
