I had to deactivate this plugin to allow uploading of SVG files. I am also using the plugin “SVG Support” and I don’t think that these two play nice together since “SVG Support” provides code that fixes the SVG problem that was introduced in WP 4.7.1

Thanks for your report. There are several SVG Support plugins in the WordPress Repository and I want to make sure I found the one you are using. I installed and activated this plugin:

SVG Support version 2.3.10 by Benbodhi.

    Is that the one?

I ran a quick test and I was able to upload SVG files without any problems when both MLA and SVG Support are active. I was not able to reproduce your issue.

There are several ways to upload files, and I only tested the Media/Add New (Upload New Media) admin submenu screen. If you are having a problem with uploading files in some other way, give me more details about the steps you are using and I will investigate further.

MLA, by the way, also provides code that fixed the SVG upload problem introduced in WP 4.7.1.

Any additional information you can provide will be very helpful. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.

I can also confirm that our plugins work well together ??
Will keep an eye on this post to see if there’s anything I can do also.

It has been over a month since my last post in this topic. I assume you have found a solution to the problem.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if there is anything else I can do to help.
